A language for what is raw and wild inside

Each of the works in this growing collection is an exercise in communication. A language. A dialogue. It’s me talking to myself. Talking to you. Talking to the natural world. Talking to God. It’s me trying to make sense of some hard things and some beautiful things. It’s a path forward. Some themes that came up while I created these works: growth, abundance, chaos, grief, resilience, decay, expanse. How do they speak to you?

Many of the pieces were created in tandem, as I moved back and forth between canvases, applying the different media to create balance within each piece but also a certain harmony in the set as a whole. Some burst onto the canvas in one afternoon fully fleshed out. Others took their time to form - weeks, sometimes months. My job is mainly to get out of the way and let the conversation unfold.

The paintings in this collection are all available for purchase under the shop tab. Pieces under 24x24 inches arrive stretched. Larger pieces arrive rolled in a tube and must be stretched before they are hung. All works arrive UNFRAMED.
